Re: shedding??????????
It means he's about to shed tonight or tomorrow. He'll shed. Bump up the humidity.

Re: shedding??????????
if he doesnt shed by tonight dont freak out he will shed... my last boa who shed finally shed about 4 days after his eyes turned clear... it was weird for him to do that but i'm thinking i didnt bump up the humidity enough... so as Aaron said... bump it up! lol

Re: shedding??????????
Yup... ditto what the others said. That happened to me when I first got my boa, Sid, and I was very confused. Woke up a couple of days after his eyes cleared and there he was... all shed!!

So is it advisable to handle them when they are in shed?

Re: shedding??????????
There are some arguments about that, I prefer to leave them be, and get a whole shed in one peice, I save em ( is that sick? )

Its warped a bit I guess, but I guess that means I am warped too! Hee Hee!
I still have hair from the first haircut I gave my schnauzer, 6 yrs ago.... lol! I thought it was neet to put in her "baby book" and cause her hair is a different color now.

Re: shedding??????????
Well, you're not sick for keeping sheds. I know a few people who do.
Secondly, I've always preferred not to handle my snakes while they are in shed. Sometimes they can become more tempermental since they lose some senses.
