They are a very inquizitive snake,mine is always on the go and has to check out everything, he is a people snake and i never have to worry about anyone getting bitten,he is just so cool with people,not head shy,all around cool snake and everyone loves to come over and hold him,he is very strong for a slender boa ,can have my face beet red if i put him around my neck, and he is just holding on. one of my favorite snakes that i own.

Boas tend to be incredibly strong for their snakes. All snakes are actually, but for some reason a boa and a python at the same size there is no contest, the boa seems stronger.

Lastly, it's generally a bad idea to place a snake around your neck. It is a very warm spot on the body and as you said he can already make your face turn colours without even trying.
