Well first of all i just want to say hello to everyone. at my local pet store they have carpet pythons for $60 but i don't know what kind they are i was wondering what is the best way to tell?
Thanks for any help.
Research the various subspecies via books & the net & go look at the ones for sale & that should give you a pretty good idea to start with. You could always just ask the staff too Mark

ya i thought of asking the staf and i dontthink they even knew there was different one , but i went in today and ran into someone that knew alittle and he let him that one was a jungle and the other was a diamond. so now i have to decide if i should really get one or save some money.
It is most definitely NOT a Diamond for $60 Even a JCP for $60 is very very cheap. Mark
