What do we need for a corn snake?

Ok it looks like I am going to give in and get my son a corn snake some time in the near future:jawdrop: . However I want to be prepared with all the right stuff this time unlike when we rescued his Iguana that cost me a fortune. Can someone tell me what we will need for a proper setup?

Hi instead of typing a whack of paragraphs on basic husbandry setup & you having to sort thru info from many folks that may or may not be valid, I recommend a book. "The Corn Snake Manual" by Bill & Kathy Love is pretty much the best book out there & includes all the info you will ever need about cornsnakes fro begginers & experts. Can be picked up for $12-$20 CDN at most 1/2 decent pet stores or at a reptile expo or show. Mark
