Possible impactation???

Hello all,

I know boa's have a slower metabolism than what i'm used to but this just don't seem quite right.

I bought Raza on 8-28-05, she's ate 5 times now and shed once (shed was perfect) the only fecal i got was a complete shock to me. it had very little urates and the poo was only a small bit that had either sand or that lizard litter stuff in it.

Since i've had her she has never came into contact with any substrate except paper towel, so it's from the previous owner or the breeder that sold her to me (don't know which and it doesn't matter to me who did it, i just want her to be healthy).

Since she poo'ed that (about 2 weeks after I purchased her) i've continued to feed her and give her 3 warm soaks for 20 mins. a week. How much longer should i keep this up before i take her to a vet??? or have I been waiting to long to wait for a poo. In 10 days i will have her for 2 months. I'm i over worrying this or should i be concerned.

She spends equal time in both hot and cool side of tank except after she eats, she spends around 2-3 days on the hot side after her meal.

The breeder said she was eating f/t mice (adults). Since i've had her i switched her immediatly over to f/t rats without a hitch. She eats great and has a wonderfull disposition and i really don't want to lose her over something like impaction that wasn't even my fault.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jamie
