shedding???

I was llooking to get a ball python but when i went to the petstore ( very reliable ive been doing business with them for four years) all of the ball pythons were shedding. I was going to get one but thought that they might get a little more stressed out than usual because of them shedding. Do you guys think i should go ahead and get one or wait for a couple of days for them do stop shedding?? Any info will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

Yes, you are right, it is stress. you must wait until they all shedded. Part of the reason is you cannot see their real colour when they are shedding. They will display the true colour after they shed. On the other hand, there may ba a mite infection in the pet store and making all the snake shedd at the same time.
