Hi All

I feel like a complete novice (perhaps because that's what I am).
I have recently aquired a 34" 13mth old Sunglow Corn Snake from a friend who has moved abroad. I have to say that although it wouldn't have normally been my first choice of pet I have become completely hooked and intrigued by Herps.
It was a nervy transition I wasn't scared of handling her more worried about letting her down by having little or no knowledge of the species.
But after a few months of worry lots of visits to local reptile store (Thanks Viking Pets-Ipswich) we have come to trust each other.
Just can't stop myself periodically staring into the viv to see what she's doing. I'm pretty certain there will be a second snake very soon.
Hope to meet lots of like minded people here.

That's awesome, I'm glad the two of you are coming together nicely. Aren't they great creatures. So gentle and they're addictive too, you can't have just one.

Oh yah and welcome to the forum!

Good luck and if you ever need any help just ask!

All I did was created an animate Gif file. I used adobe image ready and adobe Photoshop. I'm sure there's a cheaper way though. Just look animated GIF images up on the internet. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If you have those programs I can definitely help you though

Welcome skittish. I agree with Lisa, I started with 2 corns a year ago and am now up to 5. I even started my own feeder mice colony last week. Look out, it's addictive.
