Cool. I had a wild cought ringneck no too long ago, but i let it go so it would have a better life. this picture kinda wants me to have it back.

That's a pic of my 20" northern ringneck snake attacking a salamander. Yes, it is a good pic... here are the other ones of the same meal....

Any ringneck snake can eat a earthworm. But not all sub-species will take worms, with some sub-species, worms account for 50% or more of their diet. With others, it's around 0%-10% of their diet.

around here ring necks dont get bigger than ten inches but thats still a nice snake, ive caught a few around 8inches let them go cause didnt think they would get much bigger and they are wild
