New bci, lighting question

Hey, i was wondering do BCI's need alot of light? or any light at all for that matter(besides light from a lit up room from a window). I am getting a bci this upcoming week and want to know if its cool to house Bci's in a rubbermaid. and if i do need lighting what can be done for this situation. thanks for your time and info.

No, they live fine in a rubbermaid. They just need a source of heat. Ex, heat pad, heat tape.
