Yikes!! Almost got my face ripped up!!

Well, I was mucking around in her cage today. She was cruising all morning and I didn't like that 'cause she's supposed to be gravid and sitting still, ha ha. So I decided to inspect closer and bam! she reared up and was ready to go! One strike (missed) and I was outta there! Close call. I managed to get a closer look and she's still huge (actually she's upside-down tonight) so not too worried anymore. Just thankful I didn't get nailed! ha ha, stupid snake-keeper!

Is she ussuallly docile when non-gravid?

She was cruisin' around and I was curious. She supposed to be gravid and not doing anything! LOL! Its her first time being gravid so I'm keeping a close eye on her. I never touched her or anything, I just moved some wet newspaper off her back to look closer. Then she reared up and whammo! But I was fast, heh heh. Haven't been tagged by a Rainbow yet. Big BCI, Ball, corns, kings, lizards, etc. But never one of the Rainbows. Ha ha, it's a game we play.

But anyways, she is now under the heat pad upside down, so all is well. I'm trying to get another picture, but I don't want to move anything. I'll wait until she moves I guess.

She's usually pretty docile. I mean, she strikes and all, but once you get her out she's ok. I've never used a glove with her (or any of the Rainbows). But she's perenially pissed nowadays! Its weird. All that anger better not be bad for the babies! ha ha..
