Breeding consistency?

For all the ball breeders out there...how consistent are your females for successful breeding? Do the majority breed every year when attempted? Every couple years...etc?

They are all different.
This is my 4th breeding season with balls. My best mom is a wild caught female who has laid the last 3 years and increased her # of eggs each year, she had 5 then 6 now 8.

Some laid last year and are skipping this year. I only had 1 lay the first year I bred and she laid 2 years in a row then did not and now she has laid again this year.

It seems that fussy eaters lay less often. I think they just cannot regain the body weight to produce eggs.
If you let mom brood the eggs they do not lay as often, probably because they fast for 2 extra months.
My smaller girls tend to be more sparadic and have more slugs.
