Well I am overly ecstatic at the moment!
If some of you don't know, I caught what I believe to be a Common Garter Snake.
I have him in a pretty simple setup. A 10 gallon tank, laaarge water dish, small hidebow, paper towel substrate, and of course....a heat lamp.
I've had him/her for alittle over a week and a half now and he has eaten 3 earthworms (they dont make much of an indent in him,) defecated twice, and last night he had a PERFECT shed! I'm so happy with this littler guy! I never expected him to feed....let alone have a perfect shed!
