A Project..*Graphic content*
Well, This should be fun. I aquired this bp from a friend of a friend, he didnt know what the problem was with it, but it kept comming back!
As soon as I seen the snake..I knew it was a thermal burn. I soon asked too see the heat source...and that was the problem...a heat pad that wasnt controlled by a thermostat.
It was very hot too the touch...which explains the burn 100%.
After healing one of my kings from a bad torn skin issue..im confident I can tackle this problem..if I can, he/she will make an awesome edition.
Other than this...the snake appears too be fine, alert, active, little skiny, but apparently takes two frozen thawed a week....ill soon test her out on that.
Thanks for Veiwing....

Yes Nita, it is...but after looking long and hard at it tonight..seems to be pretty healed underneath the scar tissue, maybe a few more days and the old scar tissue will come off on its own. And the un-shed skin is terrible..extensive restriction on the tail, and I removed about 2-3 layers off her body. Spent a good portion of tonight with a warm damp towel, spray bottle and a pair of tweezers. I hope for the best!

Good luck with him or her, and good to see the snake is now in the hands of someone that cares about it enough to try and heal it thouroughly

I once had to deal with a ball python that had near identical burns. I used aloe vera lotion on all burnt area and everything healed amazingly well.
Good luck.
Cheers

Thanks Paul,Smeagal and jlax. Its been a few days and I am already seeing a bigger change on the wounds..didnt take any photo's but I took some of her after I soaked her, and freed the remaining 3/4's of her body from the 2-3 layers of previous shed skin. (Some that stuff was pretty baked on...unreal).
Here's the photo's, she's got some really nice patterns.
Ill upload photo's of the burnt tissue as it progresses.
