Boaphile Plastics cage questions

i am looking for some relatively cheap plastic cages for the future. i was looking on the boaphile plastics website and i like the looks of the 421d cage which i see they have on sale for $199 each shipped to your door. it is 48"x24"x11.5". i was wondering if they have good quality cages and do they have good prices?

also the cage would most likely be for boa constrictors and other large boas and pythons(excluding the huge ones). would this be a good size for those snakes?

and does anyone know of any companies that make cages similar to the boaphile ones at a better price or a they pretty cheap?

so far i only have one boaphile but i'm geting them for a bunch of my snakes. i really like them. easy to clean, can order them with heat tape and LOTS and lots of other cool features. they really are cheap compared to other places, even vision cages and i think boaphiles are better than visions, for the main reason-they self extinguish if they catch on fire! dont worry i didnt try it myself but thats what the website says. all you need is ofcourse a dimmer to put on the heat tape and your all ready to go. they even make them so you can put them together to fit a corner of a room so you can put a pretty big snake in there. the door locks shut so theres no way of escaping. i say go for it, they are great, they even make them for arborials which i plan to put my etbs in eventually. and they make rack systems which are really neat. so yeah, no doubt about it, keep checking them out and you'll find all the sizes you'll need and cool features to go with them.

well im not exactly sure how big they make rubbermades but i plan on using them for the smaller snakes and if i get one of those stack combos for the cage i talked about above then i figure that can hold a fairly large snake. what do you guys think?

sounds like a good plan to me. i'm going to get most of my snakes into rubbermaids for temporary cages so i can sell the aquariums and buy more boaphiles.

thats the size i have my big female bci in. shes around 5.5 feet but fits in it quite comfortably. you could probably put a 6 or 7 foot snake in there as long as it doesnt have too much girth, then you might want something bigger. but a 6 or 7 foot bci should fit fine in that size.

now i just recently found out that my dad has a friend that he says is a good carpenter so im thinking it would be a lot cheaper to build cages rather than to spend a couple hundred dollars for one.
