Floral moss

would floral moss be harmful at all to my herps?

that is usually sphagnum moss. it is generalyl kind of dirty wehen bought in those fresh bags (bugs twigs etc).

should eb fine id jsut soak it and pick out twigs.

nto saying all are cause i dont knwo much about the subject. but often times this stuff is grabbed from teh wild. its apeprently becoming a problem. i seem to rememebr reading it takes a couple years for it to mature, and longer for it to recover after harvesting. it also gets a hard time from dummy pine mushroom pickers that use rakes.
