I became a father at age 17. I understand how scary it can be.. but believe me, when you get to hold YOUR baby for the first time, the fear melts away.

I have my 6th child on the way any day now,I was scared to death when I heard the first time I was going to be a father ,but it all works out and you learn along the way ,Belive me there is nothing better in the world to hear then your child tell you they love you.It will not be easy and belive me I know (4 girls and 2 boys) but it is worth it in the end. There is no reason to get rid of your herps though unles maybe you need to turn the reptile room into a nursery .We have more animals then a zoo here and still have enough time for all of my children.Well Good Luck And CONGRATULATIONS

Congrats, When my girls were born i got rid of the herps for a while too. I had triplets couldn't manage them and snakes so the snakes went, don't worry they are back now.

Man Andrew, I got three (all at once) and there is no way we are going for more!! Congrats on having six, and you are still sane, Right?!

I think it all boils down to my wife just can't get enough of me LOL.As far as the University thing goes,That is why I have to keep posting animals for sale probably until the day I die.Anyways they are all certainly worth it and I wouldn't change a thing, my children and my wife are the best part of my life.

Yeah I am 20 and Have a 6 month old daughter (Destiny) You can most likely keep your snakes. My little girl loves snakes she has been to 4 herps shows and smiles and reaches for them the whole time. She petted my BP for the first time the other day. I took some pics, she didnt want us to put her away, it was great.

When I have kids, I'm going to continue to have herps (and by then I'll be co-owning a zoo/exotics store). Unless there comes to be large financial issues, I don't think I'll have a need to sell them.
