Warm hide question.

Hi guys.


My female stay's in the warm hide 23/7 where it's 90-92 F. At night she comes out for mabey one houre.
Is this normal.???

Yeah, that's what they do. Just to make sure, try to have a similar hide on the cool side. See which one it chooses.

But being a nocturnal, burrowing snake from hot tropical AFRICA, I would say that its blatant normal behaviour for a Ball Python.

That i know.
Yes she has 2 hides.One is 90-92 and the other is 80F
But i thought 24/7 was to much heat for her
But if it's normal no worry's than

Mine almost always uses his warm hide. I haven't found him in his cool hide for weeks, if not longer. He occasionally will move to under his water dish, which is in the middle of the tank, but almost never uses his cool hide. I figure that they know when they need to be warm and when they need to cool down, so if he doesn't feel like cooling down, I don't worry. You shouldn't either.
