plants for cali. kingsnake terrarium?

any suggestions of plants to throw in with him. ive got fake vines....driftwood thing hollowed out skull waterdish (plastic for now til hes fullgrown) and a rock hut. he doesnt go into his hut. its on the warm side is that why? should it be on the cooler side? he just snuggles under his waterdish......

probably. could remove teh heat, but i would jsut add another one in teh cool area. options are key.

as for plants, i think palms work great! a lot of the more common ones grow nice and slow as well...so its realyl ideal for your cage. spineless succulents and cacti woudl do well too if you could find a way to snog them in somewhere they wont get borken (ie between rocks).

Make sure the hot spot isn't too hot. If it isn't he probably just likes the tighter hiding spot the water dish offers.
