o ya he's a pastel , hes got killer pink on his sides but the pics dont do justice

very nice but a pastel is a normal not a morph so i hope you didnt pay extra.

nope didn't pay extra... i love him to death!! but he didnt eat today ..is that cus he stressed? i should wait a wekk or so right?? im soo nervous...guess cuz hes new..everyone knoes how it feels lol

Definitley don't feed him or try to feed him the first week he's in his new home...

Just let him chill out for a few weeks, no handling or feeding. It's hard but it's better for him

Pretty much all the pastels we see now are just nice normals, but from my understand there was a genetic pastel?

All pastel is technically genetic - if you breed a pastel boa to a regular old boa, there is an extremely high chance that most of the babes will be pastel. This would suggest it to be a co-dominant morph, however, there doesn't seem to be a "super" - so it's probably just one of those traits that is inheritable, but not necessarily genetic in terms of recessive/dom/codom.

I just got a new baby bci too and the first night I had him I fed my other snakes and tried to feed my bp AGAIN and of course, she wouldn't eat, so I put the weaned rat in my boas enclosure and the boy gobbled it up! ...he's been chillin ever since.
