The condo corp's lawyer violated a rule from the Civil Court Procedures for Ontario, which is the:"Minimum Notice Period
(3) The notice of application shall be served at least ten days before the date of the hearing of the application, except where the notice is served outside Ontario, in which case it shall be served at least twenty days before the hearing date." They couldn't even wait a couple of days!! (We were served 8 days before the court date.)
This lawyer was totally peeving the judge off by not answering a specific question. He kept saying things that did not pertain to this question, and he never did answer it!!! (We think its because they were hoping we wouldn't show up!!
AS IF!!)
The court date has now been remanded until March 3. We will post a new thread to let everyone know what the verdict is then!! Take care Kristy and Frank.
