Ticks

I was wondering how effective Nix is with ticks? Thanks.

I was told it works really well...I have no personal experience with it though.

Just out of curiousity, how would you identify if your snake has ticks??

Ticks are easily spotted on a specimen & usually just manually removed. If you have a specimen that came with ticks I'd have to assume it was wild caught & probably has mites & other internal parasites as well. Thats the worse case scenario anyhow. Nix is a common treatment for mites though & as stated will kill most all bugs/external parasites. Is there a reason why you are asking other than curiousity? Mark

I've got a WC Savannah Monitor. I've pulled a couple of ticks off him, no mites though. He'll be treated for internal parasites also.
