The manual
I just read through The Boa Constrictor manual by Phillipe de Vosjoli in a few hours, and I think it was a pretty good read as far as I can tell, however I'm not boa expert either. But his Leopard Gecko manual was a great help, and now I'm moving on to his Ball Python manual.
Has anyone else read his manuals? How would you rank them? Would you say there's any better manual for boas? Just wondering because I love to read everything I can on reptiles.

Yes, I love them and think they are a fantastic start for anyone looking for info. I have the Boa and BP one.
I wish they were a little "newer" to keep up with all the morphs, but even the net seems to be having a tough time with that.

Well every so many years they add to it so just wait awhile and you'll have an updated one, it's been 10 years so there should be one coming about.

I have the ball, boa and corn manual. The ball one is a little out of date but the boa one is great. The corn one is by bill and kathy love.
Cheers,
Trevor

unless you have read every book out there how can you have an opinion like that.
i have the ball python manual you know the 1 with like 30 or so pages well i wouldnt consider it good as i coulda got everything from that book online.
i will pick up the boa constrictor manual 1 day and i will check it out.

The Phillipe de Vosjoli Manuals are very good and I just found out there are new updated ones coming out soon, if not already.
The books are awesome but I really don't think there is any replacement for sites like this one. Way too much expertise and experience here to put into any book, not to mention the ability to interact, ask questions etc.
Anyways, get "The Manual" it's worth it just to have when you are not near a computor

The ball python manual only 30 pages??? Maybe that's the old one, the new one has over 80. Same with the Boa manual, and Leopard Gecko manual.... Guess you need to search for an updated one or not buy the cheap ones the pet stores offer.
