Great shots!
What type of camera are you using?
I have been using a Nikon coolpix 4100 .. The macro function is great. I am a big fan of Nikon.. and have had some good results with their cameras. The prices have really dropped as well..... I paid 470 for mine, but I beleive the price has dropped to around 370 since the summer. They are worth every penny.
Anyway, excellent gecko pics!

The camera I'm using is an Olympus D-560
with 3.2 mp, 3xoptical zoom and 10xdigital zoom. It's a great little camera for a variety of purposes. I'm not even sure of all the capabilities as far as macro shots are concerned with this camera, as I haven't had much time to try different things out yet, so it's been pretty much on "auto" mode.

Beautiful geckos and set up! I just spent 130.00 on a columbian redtail boa but I think my next expensive (well to me anyways) will have to be some phantasticus, I've been debating between them and uro's but my gecko addiction is far beyond my desert dwellers addiction

Jess: Yep, I agree, tank looks better with the geckos than fish....but then again I'm a bit biased. I got these two from a great fellow member on ssnakess.com known as "adamofsound". He drove quite a ways in lousy weather to get these two to me, so if he sees this, thanks Adam!

Awesome Adam, I just purchased a pair from Neil Meister and a female Lineatus for my male. I'll post pics when they arrive. They are by far my favourite gecko and I can't wait to get them. What kind of temps and humidity you keeping them at? I'm a little nervous to keep em but I'm up for the challenge, I'd do anything to be able to keep these guys successfully, even bring my room tmeps down to 60 haha. Good luck with them and keep us posted! That male is amazing!

Mike: well by buying from Neil, you know you're starting off with great animals and that's the first step to success. I keep the phantasticus in temps between 64 - 72 for the winter and will allow that to climb as high as 78 as long as all is still normal in the spring. For the summer I believe I will have to move the tank down to the basement as this room is at ground level and just gets too warm in the summer months. I could be mistaken, but I'll be able to tell more accurately when May arrives. Humidity is kept up by spraying that I do about 4 times per day. There is also a soil substrate along with a lot of moss that covers the back wall and parts of the bottom that aids in maitaining humidity.
