Signs of egglaying, what do I look for?

I have a male and a female long tail lizards, both are full grown and i was wondering what to look for if the female produced eggs? the bottom is jungle mix so its like finely shreaded mulch. I got my female a few weeks after the male, after they got aquanted my male started burrowing himself and whenever i come home from school the 2 lizards are usually burried in the same spot, is that breeding behavior??? any help will be appreciated.

You will probaly never see them breed. But if you dig in the substrate you will find eggs if they mated.

Good Luck!

They might only have half the egg buried. You will see the female digging in the substrate when she is about to lay her eggs.
