1st attempt with frozen

The pet store was out of froze rats, so they gave me an adult frozen mouse. Chuck wouldnt take it. Tomorrow im gonna try a live small rat and pre kill it, so if its twitching he'll notice and grab it. hoping it'll work, I didnt save the frozen one i threw it out to the neighborhood cats, hopefully he'll go for the pre kill!

I would make sure it's totally dead before trying. If you want to get him on F/T rats eventually, don't cave and try mice. Only rats. Good luck.
