Snakey pumpkins (and more)
Next year, I'm going to start before the 31st and put more detail... and maybe make it longer.

It's not sn*w, it's.... umm... ummm.... icing sugar! Lots and lots of icing sugar... Just for that cool red reflective effect on the flash-less pics. Yeah, that's it...
Glad you like 'em!

*lol* inked... yes, it's a wolf. (don't feel bad, took my mom a while to see it to).
And thanks Silvertongue I hate to say it, but I kinda got the idea from *gasp!* Martha Stewart... she had a catterpillar thing on her website last year... and I thought, why not a snake? (made a little pumpkin village last year though). And, my b/f loaned me his woodcarving tools, so that helped a lot! (regular kitchen knives suck for pumpkin carving!)

Love the pumpkins!! I barely have what it takes to carve one.
When I saw the snow in that last picture, I snickered, and laughed "You poor suckers have snow. Poor suckers have snow". Ten minutes later I looked out my window.
I've just finished eating my words (much easier to do if you dump 'em in a bowl, warm milk and sugar... they go mushy ... easier to swallow)

LOL -- I was just thinking the exact same thing Dragn Snowed here too today -- my last day in Toronto, and it snows -- oh well *grins*. It's as good of a going away present as any I guess... hehe....
Although now it's bright & sunny, and no sign of the snow remains -- it was going pretty good for a while there though!

If it's gonna be cold anyway, I think it's better with the snow... at least you can swear at the snow! "g*d d*mn f-ing snow!" just has a better ring to it than "g*d d*mn frosty brown grass and dead leaves!"
At least you can blame snow without sounding too stupid

Waycool snake-o-lantern ya got there. We had snow here in PA too, but it didn't last for very long on the ground. Melted after just a few hours, but was very pretty while it lasted.
It's always fun doing those first few donuts of the season.
