A Christmas gift from my geckos

Look who arrived on Christmas eve:



He is a little F2 baby who decided to be the last hatchling of the year. (He's a spider gecko (Agamura persica).)

I had 2 geckos hatch too, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday, there great christmas gifts to ourselves aren't they?

How was it incubated and how long did it take?

They incubate dry on sand at 84-86 F. It took this little guy 74 days to hatch. The only part that worried me was the attached infertile egg that can be seen in the above pic but he seems to have popped out okay. He measures 2.5 cm (1 inch) SVL.

Agamura aren't the easiest to breed, so that guy is really special.
