Unhappy Suggestions

Today I went to clean my enclosuer and well, when I took out his log it was a little moist on the bottom Iand the was these little bugs on the log (not mites). I checked my snake over and over and there was none on him. I took everything out and I let it soak in a water and a little bleach for 20 min then rinsed and soaked again in just hot water. Cleaned the cage with Anti Bacterial dishsoap. and then again with peroxide and water.
does any one have any suggestions on what kind of bug it may have been, and do you think the procedures I used was suffciant enough to kill what ever it was..
Thanks
Jamie

Bake the log at 300 deg. in your oven for 30 minutes, do the same to your snake if it also has these bugs on him, just kidding....not about the log though, bake it.

theres lots of little bugs that crawl on and eat decaying organic materials (wood). no harm to the animal, and not really any harm in leaving them in there. all tehy are doing is eating the wood and/or fungus on the wood.

lol mykee. that wouldnt be cool....
