buying a cham at an expo

Just a few questions regarding buying a cham at an expo. After many months of thinking about which kind of cham i want to get i finally decided on a panter. I already have a vield. But everyone that I've emailed around here (Massachusetts) aren't selling them, only veilds! So I finally found someone who will be going to the New York expo who has a few to sell. The only details i have is that they're around 3/4 months old and the father is an Ambanja. He said he would put one aside for me if i was interested. They're selling for $150/males. Is this a good deal? And It would be about a 3 hour drive to get there, will the little guy be ok in the car for that long? Any suggestions/comments would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thats a fair price. From the way the vendor made it sound it will be a mixed morph.

There should be no problem with the ride home. Just make sure to keep him away from temperature extremes. If you can you might wat to try and find a styrofoam cooler or something similar to keep him in. It will protect from drafts.
