what is the humidity that you are sopose to have for the dums i have hear from low to high that is why i'm asking my house
is very dry to begin with. it is over 100 years old and well before we moved in this fall the house was setting empty for about 8 months in the middle of the summer all closed up and there is hard wood floors so i have a humidifier running but with very little help. sorry for this being so long
I wouldn't worry too much about humidity for dumerils. They come from arid regions. I've never really checked the humidity other than breeding time when I'm warming up the snakes. I then spray them a couple times a day.
If your concerned you can allways put a bigger water bowl in the cage.
Piers
I believe i read somewhere that Dumerils require about 50% humidity. But like Piers, I have never checked my Dumerils cages. If there shedding fine I wouldn't worry about it. If your using a glass cage with a screen lid then you may want to make sure the water bowl is good size.
