Tear on "underjaw"

I was feeding my BP and noticed under his lower jaw I could see the mouse's fur. Is this normal??

The only thing I can think of, without seeing pics, is that where they usually have a piece of skin that stretches open could possibly be ripped open (an old injury purhaps)

Complete guess though..just trying to help

I am almost positive I could clearly see the mouse fur. My BP usually eats 2 mice a week so next week I will take pics of it and post them. The first mouse I didnt notice it but what made me notice it on the second is the fact that when we went for the mouse he got his mouth around the head and coiled. When he coiled up he didnt get much of the mouse so it was mostly his mouth and just past his head that was around the mouse. I looked closely to see if the mouse would somehow get out and I saw it. I will take pics next week. Hope its nothing to worry about
