Well that is the most striking turtle I have seen. Is the white head the norm, or an anomaly.

Thanks guys. It belongs to a friend who hatched him out some 15+ yrs. ago. (I think it's more like 17) I have seen some with a nearly white head like his, but certainly not many as cool as this one. I just had to share the pic.
I did see a small one earlier in the year, but they are fast disappearing around here.

That is a seriously cool terrapin. Amazing.....if I had more time and space I would get more aquatic turtles they are facinating.
