I bought a baby from Port Credit at the show in April and it was fantastic from the start. They get about 6-7 feet and with most snakes it can depend on the individual snake. But my daughter and I have handled it ( haven't bothered to have it sexed) since day 1 and have never been nipped at. I've never even seen it open it's mouth except to eat. Excellent temperment on most of them! At about 6 months of age, they completely calm down! Its uncanny! Never refuse food either. All around best snake for the non-beginner in my eyes. When people that haven't been exposed to snakes see them, they are like "wow, is that thing real?" Verrryyyy impressive snakes. Especially when they are adults!

Babies are going for $225 - $250 this year (market price). They reach lengths of 6-7 feet. Typically babies are born striking at anything that moves, but they are probably one of the easiest snakes to calm down. They are more active snake when being handled than most other boids, but are good-natured once you get past the baby bites

i paid around 200 for my little girl.i also have question for jeff why do you say this is a good snake for non begginer. cause this is my first snake. is there something i should know

BRBs are not for beginners because they need more care than others because (mainly) of their high level of humidity to watch every day, especially for neonates.
