I was sent this link by a friend of mine and thought it was interesting. I was surprised that there are 20,000 snake charmers in India. They should form a union lol.

There was a Natl. Geo. about that. Perhaps if they weren't carving them up so badly to remove the venom glands. I believe the statistic was the average life expectancy of a cobra in a charmer's care is like 3 or 4 months.
