Introduction :)

Hello,

I'm Michelle, also known as xith. I'm a (almost) new gecko owner. I am getting them in the mail tomorrow. I'm going to go out and buy a new aquarium for them, as well as decorations to make the habitat look awesome.

Anyone have any suggestions on a good healthy way to setup the tank? I know sand is out, but what about dirt, rocks, driftwood or other branches? Is it a better idea to buy rocks and stuff from a pet supply store, or can I use any that I find from the wild? I would have to boil the rocks or driftwood for a while to kill any germs or anything on them right?

Anyone have any suggestions, please feel free to post them. I am really excited about learning the ways of the Gecko, and I want the new comers to my family to feel as welcome here as possible.

welcome to the forums! I would check your respective boards to get the info you are looking for as this is a general forum and you stand a better chance at a good response if you post this in the gecko generals or more specificly if available. They should be able to set you off in the right direction. Good luck and congrats!
