HELP! I'm Being Eaten ALIVE !!!
I am just a big giant mouse! This guy wont let up. Tried more handling, but he just doesnt get it!! Determination is usually a good quality......
He calmly crawls around my hand, sniffs me(there is no way I can smell like a mouse), and then he latches on, and moves around trying to swallow me.
Each shot is a different attempt to eat me within a time span of about 15 minutes! He even snapped at the dog when she walked by!!

Wow... im feeling fabulous about the new corn I just picked up... This must be the bitey phase. I recommend not handling for a while, and then start out slowly with gloves.
Also, how often do you feed your snake. He might just be really really hungry??

He just ate a big hopper on Saturday! I have had tons of snakes, and this is the first one who has ever actually tried to eat me....some have snapped at me after feeding, or when just born, but they realize pretty quick that I am not edible. I thought the issue was not enough handling. Its hard to give each snake enough human contact.
Dont worry, it doesnt hurt a bit.

Wow...
Those are some awesome pictures.
I guess it must not hurt too much at this point?
And a corn too! Supposedly one of the best handling snakes. Heh.
Anyhow, I don't have any suggestions. None of my creatures have tried to eat me... well, not to that extreme anyway.
