Cage size Q

Hi...new to this forum...

I'm having a cage built for my female rtb. She's a yr and a half now at a little under 4' long.

We were thinking of a 4x3x2 cage...would this be more than enough room for her as an adult??

Should we go bigger?

TIA!

Yeah that would be fine IMO. The more room you give the snake the better. You may wanna add another foot of length. But thats my opinion.
But before making another post with Anyone ? on it wait more than 40 minutes, most people arent even off work yet.

Thanks for the reply. We'll look into the 5' ones then.

Sorry! I didn't mean to jump the gun...I just saw a bunch of views on the post, but no replies.

Thanks again!

Country:
4x3x2 is definitely large enough for an adult Bci. The 'set minimum' is a foot of square floor space per foot of snake, and an enclosure with 12' is definitely large enough for even the biggest boa out there. A more spacious cage can be a good thing *within reason*, bigger isn't necessarily better, as your snake still needs to feel secure, which the larger cage you have, the more stuff you need to put in it. 2' of height will be wasted however, unless you plan on putting a shelf, or branches in it to give your snake more ground space

You could even go 4x2x2.

If you want any help with building, please PM me. I have built a few myself and am building more. They will be 8x3x1 but still you will get the idea.
