Hey, there are a few around. You could try Niagara reptiles, they might have some available, they are becoming harder and harder too find, I'm hoping too have some good results with my trio this year. If you end up finding some feel free too let me know where I wouldn’t mind knowing where too pick up a few more when I’m ready too expand my group.

There is a guy in Calgary who has a trio for sale in Calgary. They are LTC 10+ years, but have never been bred. Let me know if you would like contact info. I think he had a pretty good price on them too.

After the boom of imports last year, Corucia's have been a little harder to find, but it has also brought their price down tremendously.

Monkey Tails aren't necissarily monogamous, but they do better in captivitiy if kept in pairs or small groups. In the wild they live in family groups for the most part.

We are working with a small group of them, but they have yet to produce offspring.

Thanks for answering that, JonK. I've heard too that females only have one or two offspring at a time, and that they will stay with her for as long as two years... is that true? If so, that would be incredible, especially for a reptile... =)

Hi from what I have heard they do remain with their mothers for about a year after birth, and yes it’s normally only one offspring. I have actually heard the young will not survive if separated too early. I will hopefully learn more when my group begins too reproduce.

A buddy of mine has bred them once. The mother became VERY aggresive and protective ofter her baby was born so he is no longer breeding them. I will check if whoever he sold them too is breeding them.

Wow, that kind of maternal instinct just isn't that common or that strong in many reptiles. They also produce live offspring, as opposed to laying eggs, right? =) Sorry, once you answer one question, about 29,847,218,472,937 more pop into my head! LOL =)
