Confused about the development of follicles. When does the Development of follicles start, during the cooling or during the summer? Also I know palpating is how you are supposed to tell how far along developed the follicles are, but I thought if the follicles were big enough to feel, that usually means it is to late to try and introduce a male because by the time copulation occurs and the sperm makes it up, the follicles are reabsorbed. Also the reabsorbing of the follicles is that another temperature related event, where when it's not cool enough or it's too hot, when does a female decide it's time to reabsorb follicles?

Also just to get an idea of time lines, when do you start cooling and what temps do you use, and when to you put the heat back on? Do you gradually reduce the heat over say a month period or do you lower the temps and that's it?
