I asked the same question a while back and the general answer was a 8' x 4' x 4', but again bigger is better.

6'x4'x2' will do for the average sized adult.

I house my adults UP TO 12 ft in 8x2x2, then move them into 8x4x2 once they hit over thw 12ft mark. As long as you give them the excerscise they need, these sizes will be plenty.

Burm Enclosures

My Burmese Python, Bandula has his own room! He's only four years old and around 13 feet. If owners can give their pythons this kind of comfort I'm sure their snake would be more than happy. The room consists of a bed (like a large dog bed) with heater underneath, a large non-tip water bowl, and various things to climb on throughout the room. He seems to enjoy the set up and I'm sure your pythons would too. The door to his room is padlocked, and there is a little sign on the door warning people of what's inside... JUST IN CASE =)

My big gal Lucy used to have her own room. It is now full of more cages to help house my 60(+/-) snakes.
Here is a pic, and old one, but a pic of her set up.

I had to house my male green in with lucy for a week when I was having housing issues. He chased her all around the room as she shed(hence the mess), then nailed her. I quickly put a stop to it so there would be no more normal burms born into this world, but this shows her set up. The room was 12x12, had almost a pool for a water dish, a baseboard heater that never got hot enough to burn her and a humidifier/air mover to keep even temps in the room and which also was used for a warm spot for her to curl up to.I never once had a problem keeping her warm enough or anything. She seemed to love it. It was nice while I had the room.*sigh*

Sorry the pics are so bad. They were taken about a year ago with my old crappy camera...lol -but you get the idea...

Carpet Burm!

Those are awesome pics! You had the luxury of tile! LOL Bandula is on carpet, talk about hard to clean! I wish I had a pic to put up here but my camara is down. I've since added a children's sized outdoor pool in the room to aide with shedding, and so he can keep clean. Another clue I would add if you're keeping your burm on carpet is to use plastic trash bags and tape them to the floor... it's easier cleanup and the carpet won't mildew!

Actually, the room was hardwood and I put lenolium down over it. It was pretty nice just to be able to mop and use my dog pooper scooper...lol
I just put it down and taped it about 6 inches up on the wall so it can be taken out when we move. It was nice for her.
Looking at those pics makes me miss her soooo much
