BC'ers at Red Deer!
Looking for people who are coming from the Lower Mainland to the Red Deer show. Had some snakes which needed to be brought back to BC. Henry's gonna do it, but now he's not making it out. The snakes will all be prepacked and picked up from you when you arrive back in BC. Any takers??

Debbie & Lindsay's Educational Snake Show, BC are on the list of vendors... I don't know who they are but maybe you do. That's all I can find. I'll keep my ears open though.

Yes, he emailed Vanan saying he'd been sick all week and hadn't gotten anything done and thus won't be attending. Too bad. Henry always has lots of nice stuff. I guess I just have to resist going to Mark IsBell's table.

I'm not going. I don't have many animals left, I have a stag to go to, and I have TWO Chondro racks that have to be painted as soon as it stops raining. SOmething had to give. Unfortunately, it was the show.
In past years, I just rent a car and make the drive within a day. Takes a lot out of ya, and it costs over $1400 to do the trip, but I never regretted a trip yet!

THX Katt! It will be wierd being at a show with no Henry. He has been at every single show I have ever personally attended. Heck he sold me my very first snake. He will be sadly missed by all vendors & spectators alike. Get well soon HP & we all will be looking forward to seeing you in Calgary!!! Mark

woah, that is really expensive 1400. It is probably wayyy cheaper taking the greyhound bus..around 100 i think, maybe a little more..btw did you go to the pet expo at tillicum mall? I went there and it was kindda boring..mostly for cats and dogs..i wish they would have sell some of their animals

No, I didn't go to the pet expo at TC. I don't think they were actually selling animals, so for me to drag some stuff there just to show wouldn't really be worth it.
Yeah Greyhound is cheaper, and so is flying. But then it would be impossible for me to bring 100 animals to sell and all that goes into the setup, etc etc. Like lights, display cases, etc etc. It has to be driven there.

Sounds like you are eulogising him . To be honest I was kinda glad to hear he was sick. I had been waiting for some pictures from him and was getting a little pissed. Then I read this and felt like a bit of a jerk.

Ha ha Derrick, you jerk.
Manville, I haven't put a single ad up, nor have I advertised any animals on the website yet this year. They simply sold to fast and the logistics of listing every animal for sale (350 at one point) was impossible. So now that I'm down to about 80 animals left for sale, I'll probably put some ads up (maybe) and some single animals in the "available" pages. I have roughly 20 Jungles, 8 Rainbows, 4 albino Hondos, 4 pairs of 100% het albino Hondos, 2 male Pastel Ball Pythons, and about a dozen normal Ball Pythons. That't it.
