A check with the eggs

Its been about 2 weeks and i went to check on the eggs to see if there is any growth and fungus and such. The temp is still at 28C so 82F. I also took the eggs into a dark room and turned on a flashlight to see if they are fertile or not, they are sorta yellowish pink, more yellowish, not veins or vessels seen, so just yellowly. But the eggs does look alot bigger then from the start, i guess it has obsorbed the moisture? Now my question is when will i start to see development at that temp, i just need a rough guess. Also my female is doing fine thanks

If there's no sign of development, they're still in diapause. Check the Adcham profile, it mentions the diapause. I can't recall for sure, but I think your temperature is the one that causes the longer diapause.

yellow eggs are generally not a good sign, if they are bad they will go bad turn yellow get mould callaps, im not saying yours are bad but in my mind thats not a good sign. they also shouldent change in sixe that much at this point.

what does sixe mean? also what should they be looking like at this point? pink? the eggs are pure white and no fungus, maybe it is diapause, i guess they wont start to develop until nov or even later?I guess im worried. Also can someone post a picture of a freshly laid egg that are fertile and ones that are not, i saw one at the e-zine but its not helping that much

Theres a site that shows the eggs on e-zine. Mine looks like the white ones not the yellow, its jsut yellow inside. So i take that there is no development due to the high temps?

Sorry i got the wrong impression, they should look white and the same as when they were laied they dont start getting bigger till the second half or the last third of the total time time. u wont see any change for a few months all u need to do is check them for mould ect...

Im sorry i thought u were saying they were yellow i quess i diddent read your post well enough lol.

Hey meow hows it going?
One question for you. How long was your female gravid for before she laid the eggs?
Mines had gravid colours for almost a month and a half and no eggs yet.
She eats 10 to 12 crix daily with calc.

you use the word had so i suppose shes not gravid now, if shes still gravid then thats weird cause mine was gravid the next day htey have mated and then 28 days later she laid eggs. I also feed her 10 crix with calc

yea i really dont know whats going on she had the gravid colours and now she doesnt maybe I didnt check the lay bucket good enough. Its not possible for her to have the gravid colours and not be gravid is it? I know the conditionsin her environment are perfect so I really dont think it is stress.
