my hondo was wild caught?

ive posted pics of her before. i was told that it was captive bred to a special colour. i was at the daytona show this weekend and was able to track down the origion of this snake. the guy told me that he got her strait from hounduras. and that the snake was wild caught. other folks at the show suggested that a snake like mine could not be found in the wild. does anyone here have a comment on this. and if it was wild caught with this color combo is that a good thing

I highly doubt she is wild caught, Honduras has stopped exporting wildlife for many years (althought honduran animals are still being caught and crossed over to sorrounding borders and being exported from there)

Wild caught and captive hatched hondurans are very very dark marroon colored and do not selectively breed to intensify colors such as yours in the wild.

She could very well be WC or CH but very unlikely.

She is a beauty regardless

I too doubt that it's wc. While there are some wc that look similar, most will have a fair amount of black interband speckling/intrusion. That has been bred out of most of the tangerines these days resulting in a much "cleaner" looking animal like the one you have.
