Genetics?? Please explain.

I've been reading on websites and classifieds about genetics, dominant, ressessive, double ressessive, co-dominant etc. And I have no idea what any of this means.

Anyone who can explain this to me? Or point me to a website that can? Thanks a lot!! It's all very confusing.
