Id say,

Warm heat packs (duct-taped to the bottom), covered in a cloth or shredded newspaper. That would prbably do it. Make sure there isnt enough room for the little guy to get bashed around and possibly flipped on his back.

Write all over the box " LIVE HARMLESS ANIMALS- Do not shift position"

Ive never shipped a tort though, just geckos. Good luck.

deffinately not ice, those are both warm places, forget the heat pack. Instead just pack in shredded newspaper.

Well, the heat pack is for when it is in the air... is the cargohold heated? Even if the cargohold is heated, it can get down to single digits (Celsius). Keep that in mind.

Cheers,
JJ
