new additions!
Well, at long last I've finally got myself a pair of BCI's  They're something that's been on my list for a while, but I just never managed to find the right ones... until the FVHS show last weekend!  There were lots of beauties there to choose from, and I had a hard time making a decision... but, here's the two I came home with!
First, here's the female, Shallah -- purchased from David Kwok (thanks David! She's great )...
David had another really nice female at the table, with more pink, and a bit of a brighter tail... but, in the end, I couldn't resist how clean this girl was... lol... I've got this thing for clean boas 
And here's the male... Desmond/Desi (haven't quite decided yet... lol....)... purchased from Linda @ Snake Land Gate -- she had a great table at the show with all sorts of snakes on display that the kids could come up and hold -- and almost hidden on a corner of the table were these 3 awesome male boas... I had a heck of a time making a decision, let me tell you! They all looked great... but, here he is
The pics don't do him justice really, but they're the best I've got so far. LOL. I love his eyes, they're sort of pink-ish on top, it's pretty wild looking... and his saddles are this cool brick red colour...
Both of them seem to be settling in well, and took their first meal of f/t rat pups a couple nights ago From the little that I held them on Saturday, they seemed quite calm... hopefully they stay that way!

Nice! I like the female best!
Soon you'll be keeping snakes in every part of your apartment up to the ceiling if you keep adding more! You have no self control Bowels. No self control at all I tell you. :P :P :P

LOL Marisa! Yeah, that about covers it Self control is definitely not a strength of mine, especially when it comes to herps... lol... soon, the furniture is going to start finding itself out on the curb to make room for more cages LOL...

They look great Jen, Hope you had fun on our fieldtrip ,The female is real nice but the males tail is smokin'  , Almost looks bcc.

Tim -- lol, thanks The pics turned out ok, I'm sure I'll have them out for another photo session as soon as they've settled in a bit more though... what can I say, I'm pic crazy

Great photos Clownfishy! good luck with the little female, don't hesitate to feed her like a Favelle, she is a year old and has been starved for the first year. Thats how I do all my boas

Lookin' good Jen!!! You forgot to mention though that it was my incredible eye and snake picking talent that helped you choose the male. Ya that's right, I'm taking at least... hmmm... 75% of the credit for that handsome fella'. Did you post pics of Luna (or whatever your calling her) or is she just not good enough next to those stunning boas, lol.

Thanks Katt! And yes, that would be Linda... lol. Definitely a talkative older lady with glasses... I didn't notice any tats, but then again I wasn't really looking... I was too busy looking at the snakes. LOL.
