My two bloods

Hey guys heres a picture of the two baby bloods that I recieved in May of this year. I can't believe how quickly they are growing.
but there is something very strange about the way they feed.
First of all they are the only snakes I've ever owned that prefer dead prey. But whats even stranger is that they will take food right from my hand!!! I heard these snakes have a rep for a bad temper but these two have been nothing but gentle. I feel like they are the greatest pet I have ever owned!!!

Anyway heres a picture of the pair.

Congrats Cash!

Seems like you are very happy with ur two lil guys....

Do they push around the dead prey too, before eating it?

Some of mine do that, and i find it hilarious....lol

The bad temper myths come from back in the day when they're were no CB's and they were all imports, and even more scary were the adult imports....

The myth is slowly decreasing as more of these guys are entering the market as CBB...

Good luck with em!

I totally agree! My baby is a doll, too! He gets irritated faster than my other snakes, but he's by no stretch of the imagination aggressive!
Great snakes, by the way, congradulations!

They really don't push around the prey I just hold the weenling in one hand the snake in the other and when I put the rat in front of its nose he/she opens wide and I place the head in its mouth and set them both down. The snakes take care of the rest. It's really unbelievable I mean I've got a jungle carpet python that went on a hunger strike for NINE MONTHS!!! and I've had a few boas (red tail, rainbow) that wouldn't eat frozen to save thier lives. It's really been a new experience for me. I can't help but wonder what feedings will be like when they reach 30-40 pounds.
