okay new cage idea....

I am buliding a reptile room in my basement becasue my bedroom can not fit 21 reptiles in it

.....which means I am going to bulid better cages.I want this cage to be fancy looking but I can't think of lots of ideas.

Have any suggestions or pictures of your cages?

Yes. Lol. Go to a hardware store and buy the screen frames 9of the size you desire) and then get the type of screening you want. You just install it yourself, screw them all together, get some hinges and make one a door. And use something else for the bottom.

Im just guessing since this is the in the chameleonidae forum that you need ideas for cham tanks?

The one above is not good for a cham, but quite nice

I recently built a cage, actually just finished it yesterday, and havea thread on this forum..check it out for some ideas

I would becarefull of the tyope of screen you use. Toes and nails can get caught and ripped out. Also I am just about finished building a 6' high x 6' wide x 3' deep cage. Its bloody huge with a divider down the centef for my nosy be pair. Its all painted green and is in a room painted like a jungle very nice looking. I will be sure to post pics as soon as it is complete and they are settled in there. shouldnt take more then a week. UIve been working on it for the past month lol geeze hey lol
hope i helped alittle

panther_dude, watch out as even though the twoc hams can't physically reach each other, if they can see each other they can get very stressed.

A good strong screen I have heard that works well is hardware cloth. It is just like screen except it is not weaved, rather it is all together in one. You can get it in various sizes and materials, and isn't that much more expensive than screening.

klein, awesome cage! But not for chams. Thanks for sharing it anyways!
