Where do you place flexiwatt heat pad in an enclosure? what's a good but reasonably priced thermostat? anyone have Boaphile cages How do you like them?
Flex-watt heat pads should not be placed inside of an enclosure.
As for as thermostats go, the only good ones are proportional ones and those are rather expensive.

Heat tape or heat pads should be placed on the underside of an enclosure, either to the very left or very right in order to create a good temperature gradient. An inexpensive thermostat that does the trick is the ZooMed Repti-Temp 500R.
