holy smokes, red legs!

went camping a week ago for a few days and holy crap there were tons of redlegs. only caught a few, but there were TONS calling. I have never been anywhere where they were so numerous! No pics but a red leg is a redleg... they seem to be goin nuts this year, im finding way over tripple what i did last year in many of the same spots. Looking good!!!

EDIT: alright heres a couple onld pics, and the orange guy.

ARRG!!! cant link to angelfire anymore anyway here they are.

An average looking youngin.

Another, still has tail.

they are damn good at playing dead!!! if i didnt catch him i would of thought so...

Amputee. He had some rear leg damage too, but was healthy as anything, and could move just as good with the foot.

And the orange dude. the pic is a 10x 8 and scanned in to 11mb. so i had to crop it sorry if its bad quality

these are old pics, but look the same as what i found this year

Red Leggeds are awesome!! Great pics! I found a few the other day as well! I have found that they turn bright orange when they sun themselves. Probably to deflect some of the heat.
